SEARCH/RESCUE MISSIONS

It supports Rapid Reaction to locate known or unknown phones or lost people in disaster areas. Ideal for searches in post tsunami, earthquake, volcano, civil disturbances, regardless of local cell towers being operational or not. Different techniques are required in areas where there is no cell coverage, but also expanding the potential system coverage range out to multiple kilometers.

INTELLIGENCE MISSIONS

Intelligence gathering and search missions for locating potential insurgents in jungle, mountainous, desert or sea areas. AirCatch is capable of operating at heights where drone is out of sight and sound whilst mission control operated from a remote location or HQ. Intelligence gathering over considerable coverage (many kms from UAV/aircraft). AirCatch control software/mapping enables remote operation by equipping the system with on-board computing and a range of long distance data communication options.

DIRECTION FINDING

When details of Target phone are known, more specific operation objectives can be set and different functions of the AirCatch software used to locate that phone. Software controlling the system will calculate approximate distance and bearing of target phone, providing map indications of location.

Solutions

SW3 AirCatch is a range of modified, UAV-mountable dual-carrier base station solution with cellular identification and geolocation capabilities. It has been designed for aerial applications including border security, disaster recovery, and law enforcement, especially in remote areas that are difficult to reach with vehicular or portable base stations.

Weighing less than between 2-6 kg (depending on configuration) AirCatch can be fitted on suitable UAV/aircraft and controlled via the UAV’s data communications backhaul – or independently. AirCatch works natively on all 3GPP cellular standards and can simultaneously run two/four cells of any combination of 4G LTE-FDD/TDD, 3G UMTS/HSPA, CDMA2000, 2G GSM/GPRS/EDGE. It also supports 5G network scan and handles UEs in 5G NSA.

AIRCATCH 200 DUAL-CARRIER MINIATURE BTS
Its integrated dual-channel power amplifier has a peak output power of 4W per channel, delivering up to 2W in GSM and 1W in UMTS/LTE on each channel. It supports up to 24 frequency bands per channel, across frequencies from 700 to 960 MHz and 1.7 to 2.7 GHz.

AIRCATCH 400 QUAD-CARRIER MINIATURE BTS
Larger and heavier than the AirCatch 200, AirCatch 400 can simultaneously run up to four Channels of any combination of 3GPP cellular standards. Requires UAV/aircraft with 6kgs+ payload capacity.
